These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website shieldbharat.com (the “Website”) and the consultancy services offered by Shield Bharat Consulting Private Limited (“Shield Bharat”, “we”, “us”, “our”), having its registered office at Rama Road 48, Moti Nagar, New Delhi – 110015, India.
This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder and does not require a physical or digital signature. By accessing the Website, submitting an enquiry, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) or making a payment, you (“Client”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
Shield Bharat provides consultancy and facilitation services to hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic centres and clinics, including: empanelment with Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and insurance companies; GIC / GIPSA panel empanelment; Ayushman Bharat (AB-PMJAY), ECHS, CGHS, DGHS and ESIC empanelment; NABH, Pre-NABH (Entry Level), NABL and QCI accreditation support; ROHINI / IRDAI registration; insurance advisory; and related documentation, inspection-readiness and follow-up services (the “Services”).
Shield Bharat is an independent consultant. We are not an insurer, TPA, government scheme, accreditation body or an agent of any of them, and we do not decide the outcome of any empanelment or accreditation application. Approval, rejection, timelines and tariffs are determined solely by the concerned insurer, TPA, scheme authority or accreditation board.
Services are delivered under a written proposal, quotation or MOU that describes the scope of work, fees and payment terms. Where these Terms and a signed MOU conflict, the signed MOU prevails for that engagement. Any work outside the agreed scope is chargeable separately and requires your written confirmation.
Fees are quoted in Indian Rupees and, unless stated otherwise, are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST), which is charged at the prevailing rate (currently 18%). A GST tax invoice is issued for every payment where GST is applicable. Government fees, statutory charges, inspection fees, bank guarantees and similar third-party costs are payable by you at actuals.
Payments may be made by bank transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS), UPI, or online through our secure payment page powered by our payment gateway partner (currently Razorpay Software Private Limited). Online card, net-banking and UPI payments are processed by the payment gateway under its own terms; we do not store your card details. Payment links, receipts and invoices are sent to the email address and mobile number you provide.
Where an MOU provides for staged payments (for example an advance, a payment on rate finalisation and a payment on the welcome letter), each stage becomes due on the trigger event specified in the MOU.
Indicative timelines (such as 30–90 days for TPA / insurer empanelment) are estimates based on our experience and depend on the authority's processing time, inspection scheduling and the completeness of your documentation. Shield Bharat makes no guarantee of approval, empanelment, accreditation, tariff, or of any particular timeline, and fees are payable for the professional services rendered irrespective of the outcome decided by the concerned authority, except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy or your MOU.
Both parties shall keep confidential all documents, data and information shared during the engagement and shall not disclose them to any third party without written consent, except to the insurer, TPA, scheme authority or accreditation body to whom the application is being made, or where required by law.
All content on the Website — text, graphics, logos, city and service pages, guides and downloadable material — is owned by or licensed to Shield Bharat and may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without our written permission. You agree not to misuse the Website, submit false enquiries, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape content or transmit malicious code.
By submitting your contact details on the Website, through live chat, a form, a payment page or by email/WhatsApp, you consent to being contacted by Shield Bharat by telephone, SMS, WhatsApp and email about your enquiry and our Services, notwithstanding any DND / NCPR registration. You may opt out at any time by writing to contact@shieldbharat.com.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shield Bharat's total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Services or the Website shall not exceed the professional fees actually paid by you for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses, loss of revenue, loss of patients or business, or for decisions, delays or rejections by any insurer, TPA, government authority or accreditation body.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shield Bharat, its directors, employees and consultants from any claim, loss, penalty or expense arising from inaccurate or false documents or information supplied by you, your non-compliance with applicable law or with the requirements of the concerned authority, or your breach of these Terms.
Either party may terminate an engagement by written notice as provided in the MOU. Fees for work completed up to the date of termination remain payable; any refund is governed by the Refund Policy. Shield Bharat may suspend or terminate Services immediately if fees remain unpaid beyond the due date, if you provide false documents, or if continuing would breach applicable law.
