This Privacy Policy explains how Shield Bharat Consulting Private Limited (“Shield Bharat”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you visit shieldbharat.com, use our live chat, submit a form, install our web app, or engage our Services. It is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

• Contact and enquiry data — name, hospital / organisation name, designation, mobile number, email address, city and the message you send us through forms, live chat, WhatsApp, email or the payment page.
• Engagement data — documents and details you share for empanelment or accreditation work (registrations, licences, staff credentials, infrastructure, tariffs, bank and GST details) and the correspondence relating to your case.
• Payment data — payer name, contact details, GSTIN, billing address, amount, payment method, UTR / gateway reference and receipt details. Card and bank credentials are entered directly with the payment gateway and are never stored by us.
• Usage data — IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring URL and timestamps, collected through server logs, cookies and analytics tools.
• Notification data — if you install our web app and allow notifications, a push subscription token for your device.

• To respond to your enquiry and provide, manage and improve the Services.
• To prepare and file applications with insurers, TPAs, scheme authorities and accreditation bodies on your behalf.
• To issue proposals, MOUs, payment links, receipts and GST invoices and to process refunds.
• To send service updates, reminders and, with your consent, information about our other services.
• To keep the Website secure, detect fraud and analyse how the Website is used.
• To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

We share personal information only as needed: with the insurer, TPA, government scheme or accreditation body to which your application is submitted; with our payment gateway partner (Razorpay Software Private Limited) and our bank to process payments and refunds; with IT, hosting, email, SMS/WhatsApp and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations; and with government or law-enforcement authorities where required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information.

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (sessions, live chat, security), for analytics (Google Analytics / Tag Manager) and to remember your preferences. You may disable cookies in your browser; some features such as live chat may then not work.

We retain enquiry and engagement records for as long as needed to provide the Services and thereafter as required by law (accounting and tax records are kept for at least 8 years).
