TPA, GIPSA, PM-JAY, CGHS, ECHS, ESIC and DGHS empanelment, ROHINI registration and NABH accreditation — documentation, filing and follow-up handled end to end.
Hospital empanelment is the approval that lets your hospital treat an insurer's or a scheme's patients cashless and bill the payer directly. Each payer — every TPA, the GIPSA insurers, PM-JAY, CGHS, ECHS, ESIC and DGHS — runs its own application, its own criteria and its own inspection.
Almost all of them require a valid ROHINI ID first, and several require NABH or NABH Entry Level accreditation. The order you tackle them in matters as much as the applications themselves.
Shield Bharat Consulting prepares the documentation, verifies compliance against the published criteria, files on the relevant portals and manages follow-up until a decision is issued for each one.
End-to-end empanelment with leading insurance companies and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) for seamless cashless treatment.

Hospital empanelment (TPA and insurer, GIC and GIPSA, PM-JAY, CGHS, ECHS, ESIC, DGHS), ROHINI ID registration, and accreditation support (NABH, NABH Entry Level, NABL, QCI). We also advise on health, life, motor and travel insurance. Which one do you need?
It depends on the scheme. ROHINI registration takes 7-21 days. TPA empanelment takes 30-60 days. GIPSA and PM-JAY take 45-90 days. CGHS and ECHS take 60-120 days. The biggest variable is document completeness, not hospital size.
The core set is: registration certificate under the state Clinical Establishments Act, ROHINI ID, PAN, GST where applicable, bank details, doctor and staff lists with registration numbers, bed and equipment details, fire NOC, pollution consent, biomedical waste agreement and a tariff sheet. Each scheme adds its own.
ROHINI is the Registry of Hospitals in Network of Insurance. It assigns your hospital a 13-digit unique identifier that insurers and TPAs use on pre-authorisations and claims. It takes 7-21 days and must be in place before any TPA, insurer or GIPSA application.
Empanelment under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY lets your hospital treat scheme beneficiaries cashless and claim the fixed package rate from the State Health Agency. Applications go through the HEM portal, are scrutinised by the District Empanelment Committee and typically take 45-90 days including inspection.
PM-JAY ties continued empanelment to NABH Entry Level accreditation. If your hospital is empanelled but not certified, treat Entry Level certification as urgent. It takes 3-5 months, against 6-12 months for full NABH.
NABH is the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers, a constituent board of the Quality Council of India. Accreditation certifies that a hospital meets national patient-safety and quality standards. Full accreditation takes 6-12 months; Entry Level takes 3-5 months.
GIPSA is the General Insurers' Public Sector Association — New India Assurance, United India, Oriental and National Insurance. Empanelment lets your hospital treat their policyholders cashless at agreed PPN package rates. It typically takes 45-90 days.
